ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
*Menimum Educational Qualification :10th Pass (Matriculation) or ITI Pass or equivalent.Scout & Guide Qualifications:
(a) A President’s Scout/Guide/Rangers/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder (OR) A Pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/Advanced trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and continued to be active.
(c) Should have attended at least one event at National level and/one or two events at State Level (OR) Should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit/District level. (Attach separate certificate issued by concerned District Commissioner)
(d) Should fulfill necessary conditions regarding age qualifications etc. for the post of Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- as per the extant rules.
(e) Written declaration will be furnished by the candidate that he/she will serve the Scout & Guide movement in the event of his/her selection.
*Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidate’s age should be in between 18 to 33 years as on 01.08.2014 ( Age relaxation should admissible to SC/ST candidates up to FIVE years & OBC candidates up to THREE years as per rules
EXAMINATION FEE:For General & OBC Candidate only Rs. 40/- by Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft/Demand Draft only in the favour of Sr.Divisional Finance Manager/NWR/Bikaner Payable at Bikaner. Examination Fees is not refundable under any circumstances including time bared/rejected application IPO/DD/Bank Draft which obtained earlier than the date of issue and later than closing date of the Employment notice will not be accepted. Applications which will receive prior or after the date of notification would be rejected and examination fees will be fo rfeited.
MODE OF SELECTION :Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination, Interview and Passing in Prescribed Medical Examination.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
(i) The candidate should attached photo state copies duly attested by the Gazatted officers of the following certificates along with his/her application.(a)Certificate in support of Date of Birth.
(b)Certificate in support of Educational/Technical qualifications.
(c) Latest Caste certificate issued by the competent authority inthe prescribed Performa if he/she belongs to SC/ST/OBC. Cast certificate must be issued by officer equal to Tehilsealder rank.
(d) All Certificates in support of Scouting and Guiding..
(ii)Candidate must send three copies of his recent passport size photographs without cap & colored glasses duly signed by him. One copy should be pasted on the form in the space provided and should be attested by the Gazztted officer with stamp and two should be attached with the form without attested with name, fathers name and date of birth.
(iii) Candidates already employed in Central/State/PSU should submit their applications through proper channel duly submitting service certificate and ‘NO OBJECTION” certificate from the employer.
(iv) The applications which suffers from material irregularities such as unsigned, without Thumb impression, signature in capital letters, less than two signature, containing cutting, erasures, over writing, alterations, filled in different ink, incomplete, in-eligible without all enclosures, without fee/less fee not in the prescribed format of the application, without attested copies of the certificates and applications which are in the opinion of Railway Administration is otherwise invalid will be rejected without intimation to the candidate. The applications received in this office after the last date or prior the date of notification will not be entertained more than one application, applications with capped/colored glasses photograph, etc.
(v) The Railway Administration is not responsible for any postal delay.
(vi) A certificate regarding active member of Scout/Guide organization for the present
as well as in the recent past three years (Annexure-I) duly signed by Distt. Commissioner Scout/Guide for concerned Distt.
(vii) The Railway Administration’s decision is final. The decision of the Railway Administration in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the application, penalty for false information mode of selection, allotment of post to select candidates will be final and binding on the candidates. No enquiry or correspondence will be entertained by the Railway Administration in this connection.
(viii) The Railway Administration reserves the right to cancel or modify this notification without assigning any reason thereof.
(ix) Canvassing in any form will disqualify and cancel the candidature of the candidates.
(x) Candidate may also log on to : www.nwr.indianrailways.gov.in for notification and downloading application form.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Bikaner Division – This division was established in 1924 and it serves the states of Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana. This division has an equal amount of passenger and goods traffic. The main outward goods traffic of this division is food grains, china clay and gypsum. The total no. of situations in this divisions is 198 and the total no. of trains dealt with are 142 including the rail bus and BG and MG mail/exp and passenger trains. Bikaner division has 12 Computerised Passenger Reservation System functioning and one Computerized Passenger Reservation System at Ratangarh is about to be commissioned. A proposal for opening of PRS at Mahendergarh has already been sent to Railway Board for sanction. The staff strength of this division in all categories is 13728.
