ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
* Minimum Educational Qualification :Candidates applying for sports quota jobs should possess SSC/ Matriculation or ITI or equivalent.* Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidates age limit should be 18-25 years as on 01-07-2013. No age relaxation is permissible.
EXAMINATION FEE:Candidates should pay Rs.40/- through crossed Bank Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Sr.Divisional Finance Manager (Sr.DFM) Bhopal payable at Bhopal. SC/ ST candidates are exempted for examination fee.
MODE OF SELECTION :The recruitment will be based on trials with DOPE TEST, assessment of sports achievement and general intelligence/personality etc. Candidates who are found fit in trials only be considered for next stage. Applications/candidature will be rejected at any stage if found false and Railways take no responsibility to communicate the reasons whatsoever Candidates must bring original certificates of date of birth, educational qualification and sports related certificates on the day of trial and interview, without which they shall not be permitted to appear in the same.
HOW TO APPLY
Eligible candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with demand draft, educational qualification certificates, date of birth certificate, sports certificates, latest community certificates issued by competent authority, one extra self attested passport size photographs, one self addressed stamped envelope should sned to Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Bhopal, West Central Railway, Divisional Railway Managers Office, Habibganj Bhopal, Pincode-462024. The cover containing the application must be superscribed as “Application against sports quota 2013-14 (open advertisement scheme)-Game—-” on or before 21-02-2014. Application may also be dropped in the box kept in DRM Office, HBJ/ BPL from Monday to Friday between 9:30 Hrs to 18:00 Hrs. For candidates belonging to Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep should enclose a domicile certificate of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep certifying that the candidates has passed his examination from the school/ college situated in Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep islands on or before 28-02-2014 by 18:00 Hrs.TENTATIVE DATES:Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21-02-2014 at 18:00 Hrs.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
The newly carved West Central Railway Zone with its headquarters at Jabalpur comprises of Jabalpur and Bhopal divisions of erstwhile Central Railway and Kota division of erstwhile Western Railway. The formal gazette notification announcing the formation of this new zonal railway was issued on 4th July 2002 by the Ministry of Railway, Govt. of India.Mumbai-Howrah route via Itarsi- Jabalpur in the west east direction and from Mathura (excluding to Nagda (excluding on Delhi-Mumbai route via Ratlam forming a part of one of the important diagonal and side of golden quadrilateral of Indian Railways.In the north-south direction the zone has Bina (Including)-Bhopal-Itarsi (Including section of Delhi- Chennai trunk route. In addition important freight corridor of New Kati On-Line and branch line sections of Katni-Singrauli, Satna-Rewa, Jukehi-Kymore, Bina-Guna-Kota, Kota- Chanderiya (excluding) and Maksi (excluding Guna-Gwalior (excluding are also within the jurisdiction of this new zonal railway-West Central Railway caters to 39 districts (24 of M.P.13 of Rajasthan and 2 of U. P.). It has a total route kilometers of 2911 kms. of which 1328 route kms. are electrified.
