ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
* Minimum Educational Qualification :Candidates applying for various RRC group D jobs in western railway should be done 10th pass (Matriculation) or ITI or its equivalent qualifications from any recognized board .* Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidates age limit is 18-33 years for UR, 18-36 years for OBC & 18-38 years for SC/ ST candidates as on 01-01-2014. Special Relaxation of Age Limit is applicable as per the rules.
EXAMINATION FEE:Candidates has to pay Rs.100/- through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of ‘Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), RRC-WR’ & payable at Mumbai. Candidates belonging to SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Women, Minority communities and Economically Backward Classes are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.
MODE OF SELECTION :Selection will be done on the basis of written examination, Physical Efficiency test and Medical examination.

Interested railway job aspirants must send applications can be downloaded from the website of RRC-WR (i.e www.rrc-wr.com) complete in all respects along with all relevant enclosures in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the Posts in Pay Band I/ GP-Rs.1800/- of Western Railway” shall be sent by ordinary post to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway, Parcel Depot, Alibhai Premji Road, Grant Road (East), Mumbai-400 007. ABOUT RRC MUMBAI
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) vide their letter no. E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 Dt.18-07-2005 have delegated powers for recruitment of Gr. ’D’ (Now erstwhile group ’D’) posts to General Managers. In pursuance to this, the Railway Recruitment Cell has started functioning in Western Railway at Grant Road Mumbai.RRC-WR is headed by Chairman/RRC. and is assisted by one Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment) and suitable no. of Gr. 'C' and Gr. 'D' staff.The cell caters to the open market Recruitment of Staff in PB-1 GP 1800/- for entire Western Railway.RRC-WR does not accept employment applications through e-mail. The applications should be submitted before the last date of application in the prescribed form as given in the Employment Notification by ordinary post/application drop box at RRC-WR office only.RRC-WR have not appointed any agents or coaching centers for acting on its behalf.
