ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
*Minimum Educational Qualification : Post no 1 : Matric passed from recognized school. Candidate with ITI / Act apprenticeship in Gen. Fitter/ Welding/ Electrical trade will be given preference., 2. 10th Pass OR ITI OR equivalent from recognized School/Institution.*Age Limit and Relaxation: Post no 1 : 18-30 year as on 01.01.2014, 2. 18-33 year as on 01.01.2014
EXAMINATION FEE:Examination fee of Rs.40/- should be paid by Un-reserved and OBC candidates in the form of Crossed Indian Postal order (s) from any post office or A/C payee demand draft from any nationalized bank drawn in favour of FA &CAO/RCF/Kapurthala. The candidate must write his/her name, full address on back of bank draft /postal order.
MODE OF SELECTION :Candidates will be selected written test through the performance in interview.
HOW TO APPLY
a) Application shall be made on good quality white plain paper of A-4 size may be down loaded From the website www.rcf.indianrailways.gov.in in specified format neatly typed/ photostated .The format should be in conformity with the format as given in the Employment Notice.b) Application in some other format or not having complete details or not fulfilled the requisite qualification etc. are liable to be rejected.
c) The application should be filled in candidate’s own hand writing only on one side of the paper duly signed and dated. Application filled in by any body other than the applicant will be rejected.
d) The application form as per the prescribed format should be filled only in Hindi or English language.
e) Two identical copies of the latest passport size photographs one pasted on the application in the space provided and one firmly stitched to the application should be sent.
f) Only Photostat copies of the certificates and not originals in proof of age, Educational qualification, Community etc. duly attested by a Gazetted officer should be enclosed.
g) Candidates applying for more than one category should submit separate application for each category.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Established in 1986, RCF is a coach manufacturing unit of Indian Railways. RCF has already carved a niche in the industrial scenario of the country at large and Indian Railways, in particular. It has manufactured around 16000 passenger coaches of 51 different types including Self Propelled passenger vehicles which constitute over 35% of the total population of coaches on Indian Railways. Welcome to RCF RCF is equipped with a state-of-the-art CAD centre and CNC machines to undertake design and manufacture of Bogies, Shell (both with Stainless Steel and Corten Steel), FRP interiors as per customer’s requirement. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and processes have enabled RCF to achieve excellence in Design, Development, Manufacture, Installation and After-sales service of Railway coaches with a view to ensure enhanced satisfaction of the Rail customer. Design, development and manufacture of AC 3 Tier coach with Roof Mounted AC Package Units by RCF has revolutionized AC travel in the country. Since 1998, High Speed AC Chair Cars and Generator Cars designed and manufactured by RCF have been running in New Delhi – Amritsar Shatabadi Express service of Indian Railways. Tested at upto 180 kmph, the vehicles feature Disc Brakes, Flexicoil Secondary Suspension, UIC Draw Gear and Panoramic Windows.
