ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
*Minimum Educational Qualification :Candidates must have passed Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks from any recognized Board/ University.
*Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidates age limit is 18-30 years as on 01-01-2014. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules. Refer notification for category wise age limit.
*Pay Scale : Rs.5200-20200/- Grade Pay Rs.1900-2000/-
EXAMINATION FEE:Candidates must pay the fee of Rs.40/- in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favor of and payable as mentioned in the notification. SC/ ST, Women candidates, Minority candidates and candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes are exempted from the fee.
MODE OF SELECTION :Candidates will be selected based on written test and interview.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates can send applications form for rrc job in the prescribed format along with attested copies of all relevant certificates, Crossed Indian Postal Order, recent passport size photograph affixed and two extra passport size photographs enclosed in an envelope super scribed with the name of the post applied so as to reach the postal address mentioned in the notification or can be dropped in the Drop Box placed at the respective office premises on any working day on or before 19-08-2013 and 03-09-2013 for remote areas.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
North Central Railway is known as the Workhorse of Indian Railways which spreads across three divisions viz Allahabad, Jhansi and Agra, It extends from Ghaziabad (excl.) in the north to Mughalsarai (excl.) in the east on New Delhi Howarah trunk route and from Palwal (excl.) to Bina (excl.) on New Delhi Mumbai/ Chennai corridor. Rightly referred to as heartbeat of Indian Railways, North Central Railway span over parts of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh with about 3062 route km. of BG comprising predominately, double line- electrified sections defining the sides and diagonals of the Golden Quadrilateral. Rail Spring Karkhana is Located near Sithouli Railway Station about 12.8 Kms way from Gwalior Railway Station. It is a unique workshop designed for manufacture of Hot Coil Springs of various types for different types of Rolling Stock of Indian Railways. Rail Spring Karkhana Project was sanctioned by Railway Board vide Pink Book item No. 247 of 1988-89. The Foundation Stone was laid by Hon’able Member Parliament Shri Madhav Rao Scindia. This is the largest dedicated plant for manufacture of Helical Hot Coiled Springs of Indian Railways. It was setup in 1989 on turnkey basis by M/s Ernst Komrowski & Co. Germany in Technical Collaboration with M/s Grueber, a Leading Spring Manufacturer of Germany. The total sanctioned cost for setting-up of the Project was Rs 54.04 Crores. The plant is equipped with state-of-the art facilities for manufacture of Coiled Springs. All furnaces of this plant are LPG fired. Trial Production Started in February/March 1990 and the Karkhana was formally inaugurated by Hon’ble Railway Minister Shri George Farnandes on 25th April 1990 in presence of Hon’ble member Parliament Shri Madho Rao Scindia.
