ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
*Minimum Educational Qualification :Specialists – The candidate should be post-graduate in the specialty or equivalent and registered with the Indian Medical Council. One year experience in the respective specialty is desirable.
General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO) –The candidate should be M.B.B.S. and registered with the Indian Medical Council. One year experience is desirable.
*Age Limit and Relaxation:Max 50 years as on 01.01.2013
REMUNERATION:
Specialist - 46,800/- p.m.
General Duty Medical Officer -39,400/- p.m.
MODE OF SELECTION :
Candidates attained the Walk In Interview for this railway recruitment of doctors.

Candidates are required to attend a Walk In Interview with application in the prescribed format duly enclosing necessary attested copies of the certificates / testimonials. Southern Railway, in its present form, came into existence on 14th April 1951 through the merger of the three state railways namely Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway, the South Indian Railway, and the Mysore state railway.Southern Railway's present network extends over a large area of India's Southern Peninsula, covering the states of Tamilnadu, Kerala, Pondicherry,and a small portion of Andhra Pradesh.
