Minimum Scouts & Guides Qualification: The candidate should possess the following certificates in support of his/her Scouts & Guides qualification:(A) President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge Holder OR a pre HWB trained Scout Leader/Advanced Trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
(B) Should have been an active member of a Scouts & Guides organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and should continue to be active. Candidates must attach continuity certificate issued, after the date of issue of this notification, by District Commissioner/Scout & Guide.
(C) Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level OR should have a good record of participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit/District levet.
Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidates age should be between 18 years to 30 years for Unit 1 and 18 years to 33 years for remaining Units. Cutoff date for determining age limit is 01-01-2014. The upper age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PH candidates.
EXAMINATION FEE:Candidates need to Pay Rs.100/- in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of & payable to respective divisions (mentioned in notification). No Fee for all Women SC/ ST/ Minorities/ EBC candidates.
MODE OF SELECTION :Eligible Candidates will Be Selected Based on Their Performance In Written Exam, Personality Test and Interview .

Last Date for Submission of Applications for Remote Areas: 09-09-2014 by 17.30 hrs.

Application shall be submitted on A-4 Size Quality white paper and One Recent Passport Size Photograph along with self attested copies of enclosures reach to one of the unit. The envelope containing the application should be super-scribed as "Application against Scouts & Guides Quota 2014-15 for Category No._____". The last date for receipt of application is 25-08-2014 up to 17:30 Hours (For Residents of Andaman & Nicobar, Lakshadweep Islands on or before 09-09-2014 up to 17:30 Hours). ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
North Central Railways, in its present form, came into existence on 1st Of April 2003. North Central Railways present network extends over a large area of North Central India, covering the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana .Geographically NCR is the heart of Railway network and extends from (exclusive) in the North to MGS (exclusive) in the east and Bina (exclusive in the South. This network spans over parts of UP., Haryana, Rajasthan & MP. This has a total of 3062 route Kms, predominantly double line electrified section. This route from GZB to MGS is a part of golden quadrilateral. NCR consists of 202 main line stations & 221 branch line stations. This Zone forms a corridor for trains almost directions viz. East to North and North to East a total of 29 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily West/South to North and North to South/ West total 37 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily East to SW & SW to East a total of 25 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily East to West & West to East a total of 12 pairs of M/Exp. Trains Daily
