* Minimum Educational Qualification :Applicants must have Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline from the recognized University/Institution should eligible for Resident jobs in Southern Railway.* Age Limit and Relaxation: 33 years for those having Post Graduate qualification 35 years for Post Doctoral Degree holders Age relaxation will be given to reserved candidates as per the Government norms.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. The contract of appointment of Senior Residence will be one year but the total period Senior Residency can not exceed the maximum period of three years, subject to renewal / extension every year. The termination of contract can be done on one month notice or pay from either side.2. The above amount shall be reduced by Rs.325/- per month and the same will be reduced by Rs.650/- per month if without Diploma / PG Degree.For Senjor Residents who are persuinq DNB training also. the emolument swill be fixed by National Board of Examination or as above which eve is higher.
3. Free OpD treatment Medical facility as available in Railway Hospital will be provided to the senior Resident for self, spouse & children'. Free indoor Medical treatment.as available in Railway Hospital will be to self only in emergency and acute illness situation There shall not be any provision for referential other Private Medical Centres for treatment'
