ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
* Minimum Educational Qualification : Candidates attain the interview as Medical Practitioners in WCR must have MBBS Degree and Should have Registered Medical Council of India (MCI) certificate for General Duty Doctors.MBBS and Post Graduation/Diploma in concerned subjects/MCI certificate for Specialist posts.Experience : Three yeas experience as Medical practitioner for Specialist Doctors only.
* Age Limit and Relaxation:The Doctors should have age limit below 50years and upper age limit belonging SC/ST-5years & OBC-3years & Retired Railway Doctors up to 65years is applicable.
EXAMINATION FEE:No application fee
MODE OF SELECTION :The Doctors in WCR Jabalpur will be selected on the basis on Interview performance only.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. All Candidates appearing in interview will be kept in merit list and vacancies occurring in near future will also be filled from this merit list up by them. Suitable Candidates equal to the No of vacancies will be kept in Panel and remaining candidates will be placed in waiting list .2. At the time of posting the candidates can be posted at another hospital / health unit.
3. In case of non – availability of prescribed specialty candidate having alternate specialty and having qualification of General Duty doctor may be considered.
4. There is possibility of change in number of vacancies.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
The newly carved West Central Railway Zone with its headquarters at Jabalpur comprises of Jabalpur and Bhopal divisions of erstwhile Central Railway and Kota division of erstwhile Western Railway. The formal gazette notification announcing the formation of this new zonal railway was issued on 4th July 2002 by the Ministry of Railway, Govt. of India Mumbai-Howrah route via Itarsi- Jabalpur in the west east direction and from Mathura (excluding to Nagda excluding on Delhi-Mumbai route via Ratlam forming a part of one of the important diagonal and side of golden quadrilateral of Indian Railways In the north-south direction the zone has Bina (Including)-Bhopal-Itarsi (Including section of Delhi- Chennai trunk route. In addition important freight corridor of New Kati On-Line and branch line sections of Katni-Singrauli, Satna-Rewa, Jukehi-Kymore, Bina-Guna-Kota, Kota- Chanderiya (excluding) and Maksi (excluding Guna-Gwalior (excluding are also within the jurisdiction of this new zonal railway-West Central Railway caters to 39 districts (24 of M.P.13 of Rajasthan and 2 of U. P.). It has a total route kilometers of 2911 kms. of which 1328 route kms. are electrified.
