ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
*Menimum Educational Qualification :Candidates must have passed 10th pass or ITI or equivalent. And should be a President Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover, active member in scout organization for 03 years and should attend atleast one event at National Level. *Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidates age limit must be within 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2014. Relaxation is applicable as per the rules.
EXAMINATION FEE:Candidates must pay the fee of Rs. 100/- in the form of Indian Postal Order, drawn in favour of Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Hyderabad Division, and South Central Railway Payable at Secunderabad. For SC/ ST women, minority and economically backward classes whose family earns less than Rs. 50,000/- are exempted to pay the fee.
MODE OF SELECTION :Candidates will be selected based on written test, Scouts & Guides qualifications over and above the minimum prescribed eligibility condition and personality test/ interview.
HOW TO APPLY
:Interested candidates can send applications in the prescribed format attested by a Gazetted officer along with bank draft/ IPO, two passport size photographs duly signed on the top, copies of all relevant certificates, two self-addressed envelopes enclosed with the application in the envelope super scribed the name of the post applied through post to Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, Hyderabad Division, Ground Floor, Hyderabad Bhavan, South Central Railway, Secunderabad – 500 071 on or before 09-12-2013 and the candidates living in far flung areas can send on or before 24-12-2013.TENTATIVE DATES:Last Date for Submission of Application: 09-12-2013.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
South Central Railway was formed on 02-10-1966 when Hubli and Vijayawada Divisions of Southern Railway and Sholapur and Secunderabad Divisions of Central Railway were carved out and merged into a new Zone. Subsequently, Guntakal Division of Southern Railway was merged with South Central Railway on 02-10-1977 and Sholapur Division was remerged with Central Railway. Secunderabad Division was split into two Divisions viz. Secunderabad and Hyderabad on 17-02-1978. Following reorganisation of zones and Divisions with effect from 01-04-2003, two new Divisions viz., Guntur and Nanded were operationalised duly transferring Hubli Division to newly formed South Western Railway.Presently S.C. Railway has 6 Divisions, viz, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded. South Central Railway predominantly serves the state of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra and to a limited extent, portions of Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Madhya Pradesh states.
