ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
* Minimum Educational Qualification :Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent are eligible to apply for group d jobs in RRC Central railway, provided they have put in a minimum of 6 months attested service.ii) Ex-servicemen who have already joined the Government Service on civil side after availing of other benefits given to them as Ex-Servicemen for further employment cannot claim Ex-Servicemen status for the purpose of this recruitment.
iii) Sons/Daughters/Wards of Ex-Servicemen are not eligible to apply for the post reserved for Ex-Servicemen.
* Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidates upper age limit is 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years as on 01-01-2014. Refer notification for category wise age limit.
* Pay Scale:Rs.5200-20200 WITH GRADE PAY OF Rs. 1800
EXAMINATION FEE:No application fee
MODE OF SELECTION : Candidates will be empanelled on the basis of total length of military service and Ex-Servicemen.

D Mello Road, Mumbai-400010 on or before 26-08-2013 by 18.00 hrs and 10-09-2013 by 18.00 hrs for remote areas.TENTATIVE DATES:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
(i) Vacancies shown are provisional and are liable to be increased or decreased.(ii)Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in Central Railway.
(iii) Before applying for the post, candidate should ensure that he fulfils the eligibility criteria.
(iv) Applications of candidates not fulfilling the requisite criteria are liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment and if appointed erroneously, their services are liable to be terminated.
(v) Railway Administration can cancel, modify entire recruitment process or any part of it, as deemed fit, without assigning to any reasons thereof.
(vi) The application should be sent by so as to reach this office before the closing date, or should be dropped in the box provided at the Railway Recruitment Cell/ Wadibunder, Mumbai situated at above address on or before closing date on working days during working hours. No acknowledgement will be given for the applications sent through registered post or courier. No application will be received after the closing date and time . The envelope containing the application should be super-scribed on top “RECRUITMENT AGAINST EX-SERVICEMEN QUOTA FOR 2013 IN PB-I PAY BAND OF Rs.5200-20200 WITH GRADE PAY OF Rs. 1800 (ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’ POSTS)”. ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) vide their Letter No. E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18.07.2005 have delegated the powers of recruitment to Group D posts to the General Managers. In pursuance to this, Railway Recruitment Cell was opened in Central Railway. The Railway Recruitment Cell has been entrusted with the responsibility to make recruitment to all Group 'D' posts from open market. RRC-CR is headed by the Dy. Chief Personnel Officer (Recruitment), assisted by one Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment) and other staff. The Cell undertakes the recruitment for Group 'D' vacancies in Mumbai, Pune, Bhusawal, Nagpur , Solapur Divisions, workshops and extra divisional units in the territorial jurisdiction of Central Railway.
