*Age Limit and Relaxation:Between 18 and 27 years (Relaxable for Government servants upto the age of 40 years in case of General candidates, upto 43 in case of OBC candidates and upto 45 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government from time to time.
EXAMINATION FEE:All candidates are required to send application fee of Rs.50/- in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Bank Draft in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO), North Central Railway, Allahabad. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST category and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fee.
MODE OF SELECTION :Candidates will be selected through the performance in written test and interview.
(b)The applications should be filled in by the candidates only in Hindi or English in their own handwriting with signature in normal handwriting and left hand thump impression of candidates. Applications signed in capital letters/spaced out letters will be treated as invalid.
(c) Coloured photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) should be pasted at the appropriate place with clear front view of the face without cap and sun glasses.

If a candidate has any grievance regarding physical measurement and the Chairman of the Recruitment Committee does not redress the same, he may, within three days from the date of recruitment, approach the Grievance Redress Cell in the office of the IG cum Chief Security Commissioner/RPF /North Central Railway, Allahabad
3. The candidates must have knowledge and capacity to play at least one of the instruments given in this Notification. The candidates must bring their own instrument when appearing for the test.
4. The candidates have to attend the recruitment at their-own cost and risk. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will be issued with free travel authority for to-and free travel from the nearest Railway station to the place of recruitment as per extant Railway Rules.. The decision of the Selection Board on all matters relating to eligibility, place, date, mode of selection, acceptance or rejection will be final and binding on the candidates.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
North Central Railways, in its present form, came into existence on 1st Of April 2003. North Central Railways present network extends over a large area of North Central India, covering the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana .Geographically NCR is the heart of Railway network and extends from (exclusive) in the North to MGS (exclusive) in the east and Bina (exclusive in the South. This network spans over parts of UP., Haryana, Rajasthan & MP. This has a total of 3062 route Kms, predominantly double line electrified section. This route from GZB to MGS is a part of golden quadrilateral. NCR consists of 202 main line stations & 221 branch line stations. This Zone forms a corridor for trains almost directions viz. East to North and North to East a total of 29 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily West/South to North and North to South/ West total 37 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily East to SW & SW to East a total of 25 pairs of M/Exp. North Central Railway is known as the Workhorse of Indian Railways which spreads across three divisions viz Allahabad, Jhansi and Agra, It extends from Ghaziabad (excl.) in the north to Mughalsarai (excl.) in the east on New Delhi Howarah trunk route and from Palwal (excl.) to Bina (excl.) on New Delhi Mumbai/ Chennai corridor.
