North Central Railway Recruitment 2013 for Group D sports quota jobs

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
*Minimum Educational Qualification :Candidates must pass in Metric or ITI or its equivalent or Degree. Kindly view complete official advt for post wise detailed information.
*Age Limit and Relaxation:Candidates age should be between 18 years to 25 years as on 01.07.2013.
EXAMINATION FEE:a) For the post having GP 2400 & 2800 –  Candidate Pay Rs. 60/-.
b) For the post having GP 1800, 1900 & 2000 – Candidate Pay Rs. 40/-
MODE OF SELECTION :Applicants will be selected on the basis of Medical Fitness, Physical efficiency test, Interview and written test.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
(a) Before applying to the post, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility norms as given in Para 3 above.
(b) The name and initial of the candidate and father’s name appearing in school/college certificates and in sports certificates should be one and the same. There should be no difference.
(c) The specific position (Full Back / Half/ Forward/ 48 Kg./53 Kg./Wicket keeper/All rounder etc.) played in the particular game/event if applicable should be mentioned in the application without fail.
(d) The candidates already employed in Central/States/PSUs including Railways should submit their applications through proper channel along with “no objection certificate” from their employer.
(e) Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate.
(f) The candidates should be in readiness to appear for the trials at short notice after the last date for receipt of applications is over.
(g) List of Rejected applications will be published on North Central Railway website www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in and www.rrcald.org No other intimation of rejection would be communicated.
ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
.Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) vide their letter no. E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18-07-2005 delegated powers for recruitment to Group-'D' posts to General Managers. In pursuance to this, the Railway Recruitment Cell was opened in North Central Railway. The Railway Recruitment Cell is entrusted with the responsibility to make recruitment to all Group-'D' posts including recruitment under physically handicapped quota on Zonal Railway on North Central Railway and other units in its jurisdiction. RRC-NCR is headed by Dy. Chief Personnel Officer (Recruitment). He is assisted by one Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment). The sanctioned strength of the Cell has 11 Group-'C' posts including that of the CA and 8 Group-'D' posts. The cell caters to filling up of Group-'D' vacancies in Allahabad, Agra, Jhansi and other workshops as well as extra divisional units in the territorial jurisdictions of North Central Railway.
