DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Documents verification will be held from 29-05-2013 to 31-05-2013 and from 03-06-2013 to 07-06-2013.
1.It should be noted by the candidates that merely calling for the Verification of original Certificates & Genuineness of candidature does not in any way, entitle them for an emplacement/appointment in Railways.
2.The additional candidates are being called over & above the number of vacancies primarily to avoid shortfall in the panel due to absentism of selected candidates etc., if any.
3.Individual call letters for Verification of Certificates will be sent to the qualified candidates through Speed post. Even those of the above candidates who have not received the call letters may attend verification of original documents along with 'Candidate's Foil' of the written examination call letter at Railway Recruitment Board/Chennai's office on the date specified.
4.Candidates should invariably bring all original certificates in support of their date of birth, qualification, caste (as per the specified proforma), PWD, Exs etc., while attending verification. No further time will be given for submission of certificates.
5.The OBC Certificates must have the 'NON-CREAMY LAYER' clause as per the specified proforma and should not be older than one year as on the date of verification.
6.Candidates must ensure that their names, Date of Birth, father name and other particulars in their original certificates must match with entries made in their application form.
7.The final results will be based on the number of vacancies, the performance in the written examination and correctness of information furnished in the application/verification.
8.While every care has been taken in preparing the above result, RRB/Chennai reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical mistake.

ABOUT RRB CHENNAI
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Madras (now Chennai) functions under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. It is primarily responsible for recruiting the working and supervisory staff (Group 'C') required for Chennai, Salem and Tiruchirappalli Divisions and Head Quarters office of Southern Railway (SR) and Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai.RRB calls for eligible applicants through "Employment News" (A publication of the Government of India). The employment notification is also published on the Internet web site. The applications are scrutinized for eligibility. The eligible candidates are called for a written examination with call letters being sent a month in advance of the date of the examination.
