 NCR recruitment NCR Railway Recruitment-2013:North Central Railway, Allahabad invites applications for recruitment of Contract Medical Practitioners (CMP) Specialist/ General Duty Doctors on contract basis. North Central Railway is going to fill up 11 posts through this railway job notification.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
*Minimum Educational Qualification :Candidates should have MBBS for General Duty Doctors. And for the Specialist Duty Doctors candidates should possess MBBS, MD, PG Degree in concern field. For more details on place of venue, salary, how to apply, place of posting and other particulars refer notification.
*Age Limit and Relaxation:Should not be more than 50 years of age and not more than 65 years of age for retired Railway Doctors as on 01-01-2013
EXAMINATION FEE:
Application fee is Rs. 40/- in form of Indian Postal Order should be drawn in favor of SPO. Workshop, north central railway Jhansi, payable at Jhansi SC/ST is exempted from fee.
MODE OF SELECTION :
Qualified candidates will be selected on the basis of presentation in written exam, Physical effectiveness Test and Medical Test.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
(i)The contract Doctors shall not be entitled for Railway quarter etc. as a matter of right. However, if available, they will be provided accommodation. The detailed instructions with regard to their duti es while on contract with the Railways shall be given to them in the event of their selection along with the offer of engagement.
(ii)Willing candidates should bring their application from along with Original and Attested copies of all Certificate & Mark Sheets, duly filled up on the prescribed format with them. No TA/DA is admissible for this interview.
(iii)The offer of engagement to the selected candidates shall be issued subject to the availability of vacancy as per requirement in Hospitals/Health Units located at different station on as is where is basis. Any subsequent request for a change of station shall not be entertained .
(iv) If specialists are not found on the post, the post will be filled up by General duty Medical Practitioners.
(v)The places of notified vacancies may be changed as per requirement.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
North Central Railways, in its present form, came into existence on 1st Of April 2003. North Central Railways present network extends over a large area of North Central India, covering the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana .Geographically NCR is the heart of Railway network and extends from (exclusive) in the North to MGS (exclusive) in the east and Bina (exclusive in the South. This network spans over parts of UP., Haryana, Rajasthan & MP. This has a total of 3062 route Kms, predominantly double line electrified section. This route from GZB to MGS is a part of golden quadrilateral. NCR consists of 202 main line stations & 221 branch line stations. This Zone forms a corridor for trains almost directions viz. East to North and North to East a total of 29 pairs of M/Exp. Trains daily West/South to North and North to South/ West total 37 pairs of M/Exp.
