ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
*Minimum Educational Qualification :
(i) For Group C :
(a) 10th class pass or above for those candidates applying for the posts with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-.
(b) Graduation from any recognized University for those candidates applying for the post with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-.
(ii) For Group D :
SSC or 8th passed (for outstanding sports persons*). Candidates applying for posts in Grade Pay Rs.1800/- and who have the qualification of 8th passed will be appointed in (-) 1S Pay Band. Such sports persons will be given the regular pay band of PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 along with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- only on acquiring the minimum educational qualification under the recruitment rules or passing the requisite training test
*Age Limit and Relaxation:18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2013
EXAMINATION FEE:
Rs.40/- for post in Grade Pay Rs.1800/- or Rs.1900/- and Rs.60/- for those in Grade Pay Rs.2400/2800/-. Fee should be paid in the form of crossed Bank Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad for the posts of Headquarters and Senior Divisional Finance Managers of respective divisions for the divisional posts. The fee is not refundable under any circumstances.Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women, Minority and Economically Backward Classes (Family income is less than Rs.50,000/- per annum) are exempted from the payment of fees.
MODE OF SELECTION :

(ii) Trials of the candidates shall be conducted to assess their sports performance and suitability for Railway/Unit team as well as Indian Railways team. Trial Committee shall give its recommendation in terms of either FIT or NOT FIT for consideration for next stage, by giving marks (maximum 40 marks), as per the criteria given below:-
(i) For game skill, physical fitness and : 40 Marks Coach’s observations during Trials.
(ii) FIT Candidate : Candidate securing 25marks or more.
(iii) NOT FIT candidate : Candidate securing marks below 25.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES:
(i) Candidate will be subjected to medical examination by Railway medical authorities priorto his/her appointment in the allotted post after due selection.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
South Central Railway employs a workforce of 1.01 lakhs qualified, trained personnel. South Central Railway was formed on 02-10-1966 when Hubli and Vijayawada Divisions of Southern Railway and Sholapurand Secunderabad Divisions of Central Railway were carved out and merged into a new Zone. Subsequently, Guntakal Division of Southern Railway was merged with South Central Railway on 02-10-1977 and Sholapur Division was remerged with Central Railway.Secunderabad Division was split into two Divisions viz. Secunderabad and Hyderabadon 17-02-1978. Following reorganization of zones and Divisions with effect from 01-04-2003, two new Divisions viz.,Gunturand Nanded were operationalised duly transferring Hubli Division to newly formed South Western Railway.Presently S.C. Railway has 6 Divisions, viz, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded.South Central Railway predominantly serves the state of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtraand to a limited extent, portions of Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Madhya Pradesh states.
