ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
a.Minimum Educational Qualification :10th Pass or ITI or equivalent. Candidates who are appearing at and/or awaiting results of final examination of class 10th on the last date of downloading of application are not eligible to apply. Academic qualification must be from a recognized Educational Institution / Board/University, otherwise candidature shall be rejected. Candidates having higher educational qualification may also apply.
b.Age Limit and Relaxation:Should be between 18-33 years as on 01.01.2013.
EXAMINATION FEE:
The Examination fee for unreserved and OBC candidates is Rs 40/- (Rupees Forty) only.
MODE OF SELECTION :
Candidates would be required to appear for written examination (objective type multiple choice questions) on a common date to be announced later by Ministry of Railways. They would be required to qualify Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination also, to be announced later after successful conduct of written examination. Final recruitment panel will be based on candidates qualifying the written examination, physical efficiency test, medical examination and document verification. Merit shall be strictly based on marks obtained in written examination.
